What most Parents want to Know Before Scheduling the first call?
Yes, absolutely. There’s no cost or obligation to book ongoing sessions. It’s simply a space to learn, ask, and explore whether this feels like the right next step for your family.
Peekaboo operates as a private-pay practice, which allows me to provide highly personalized, evidence-based care without the restrictions or requirements that come with insurance networks.
Many families choose this model for the flexibility and privacy it offers which includes longer sessions when needed, focused parent collaboration, and treatment decisions made purely for your child’s wellbeing.
If you have insurance, you may still be able to get partial reimbursement through your plan’s out-of-network benefits. I’ll provide a superbill (receipt) you can submit directly to your insurance company and can guide you on what questions to ask to check your coverage before starting.
This approach helps keep therapy centered on your family’s needs and not on insurance limitations.
$300 for each 50 minute session.
Our work begins with an extended intake session designed to understand your child and family's needs and develop a care plan. Intake session details and fee are discussed during the initial consultation call.
That’s completely okay. The consultation call is the best place to explore that. We’ll talk through your concerns, possible approaches (including SPACE for parents), and what support might look like even if we decide to start small.
